Finding Hope Again By Inaya Syed As midterm season is approaching in the semester, you can either find yourself being depressed, or you can find hope for success again. This semester has opened me up to new opportunities and new methods. If anyone could tell, I am more determined than ever to be valedictorian, and kick these men in STEM butts. I recently had a falling out with a acquaintance of mine, whom I thought was my friend. This just opened my eyes. I should expect nothing more from men, especially those who underestimate me and use me for my kindness. I found myself being depressed a bit a couple of days ago. However, because of that slight depression, I managed to finish my midterms strong and poised, and I am more determined than ever. I no longer will be the runt. the one behind everyone else.
