My Time at NESTS (New York Tech's Necessary Eleven Steps to Start a Tech Startup): A Review By Inaya Syed Hi Everybody! As a Student at the New York Institute of Technology, I was quickly taken away by my classes. Each one is unique, and each one is challenging. One of these classes was NESTS, or Necessary Eleven Steps to Start a Tech Startup. What was new about this class was that all types of people were coming in to teach us how to start an actual startup. We began the semester strong, with asking what makes an entrepreneur an "entrepreneur". Ryan Ahmed and Pari Patel, our Teaching Assistants to Professor Peter Goldsmith, really offered a lot of advice and help as we began our journeys. Personally, having done research for the past two years on my topic, this class helped my idea come to fruition.
